Should I choose thread turning or thread whirling?
Thread turning is a flexible option for standard internal and external threads. Whirling may suit long, slender or deep-profile external threads when a compatible machine and whirling unit are available. Selection depends on the part, production volume and tooling setup.
Can ONMY review a custom thread profile?
Yes. Send the finished part or thread drawing and available application details. The profile, material, machine and tooling interface are reviewed together.
How do I confirm insert and holder compatibility?
Provide the insert code or drawing, holder or cutter-body model, pocket dimensions and clear photos where available. Similar-looking inserts should not be assumed interchangeable.
What information should I provide for a quote?
Start with the tool type or part drawing, workpiece material and required quantity. Add machine information, current tooling and your machining problem where available. Missing details can be clarified during review.
