When maximum rigidity is required, our Vertical (V-Style) partial profile inserts are the tool of choice. Unlike standard laydown threading inserts that lie flat in the pocket, these inserts are mounted vertically (on-edge). This orientation directs the cutting forces through the full thickness of the insert, providing exceptional stability and minimizing vibration.
This series is the heavy-duty counterpart to the popular 16er threading inserts. Designed for “Partial Profile” machining, a single V-Style insert can generate a wide range of pitches without topping the crest, making it a versatile and powerful addition to any machine shop.
