Product Overview
When your threading requirements exceed the capacity of standard tools, our U-Type laydown threading inserts provide the solution. Designed specifically for heavy industrial applications, these large I.C. (Inner Circle) inserts are built to handle coarse pitches and deep cuts that standard 16er threading inserts cannot achieve.
This series features a “Partial Profile” geometry, meaning one insert can machine a range of coarse pitches without topping the crest. Whether you are cutting large 60° Metric threads or 55° British Standard pipes, the U-Type series offers the rigidity needed for vibration-free heavy stock removal.
