The OD Scarfing Insert – SNG452 is a square tungsten carbide insert widely used in tube and pipe mills for removing external weld beads (OD scarfing) during high-frequency welded (HFW) pipe production.

- Relief Angles & Radii: Available in multiple radii (e.g., R12, R14, R16, R18, R20, R25, R30, R40, R50, R60, R70, R80). The radius is chosen based on tube outer diameter — usually between 110% and 150% of the tube OD.
