What Is a BLMP High-Feed Insert?

BLMP is a double-sided indexable milling insert family designed for high-feed roughing with four usable cutting edges.

The complete designation identifies the insert family, size, right-hand orientation and M geometry. BLMP0603 and BLMP0904 are not interchangeable because their length, width, thickness, high-feed depth and cutter pockets differ.

Match BLMP Inserts to TEBL High-Feed Cutters

Use BLMP0603R-M with compatible TEBL06 bodies and BLMP0904R-M with compatible TEBL09 bodies. The size code, pocket and screw must match the complete cutter model.

TEBL06 Ø16–172-flute shank cutters for the BLMP0603 platform.
TEBL06 Ø20–213-flute shank cutters with 160 or 200 mm body lengths.
TEBL06 Ø25–304-flute bodies for the compact 0603 insert.
TEBL06 Ø32–405- and 6-flute bodies with 32 mm shanks.
The TEBL06 shank range covers approximately Ø16–40 mm, 2–6 flutes and 160–200 mm total lengths. It uses an M2.5 clamping screw and T8 wrench in the supplied cutter range.
