Our Metric TR Vertical on edge threading inserts are engineered for the most demanding applications where tool deflection must be eliminated. Unlike flat-mounted tools, these inserts stand vertically, directing the heavy cutting load through the full thickness of the insert.

This design enables these carbide threading inserts to cut deep, coarse pitches (up to 12mm) without chatter. While a standard 16er threading insert handles fine work, the 22VER and 27VER series are the heavy-duty solution for industrial lead screws and motion control components.
