Achieve critical “Dryseal” performance with our NPTF Full Profile laydown threading inserts. Unlike standard NPT, the NPTF profile is engineered with controlled crest and root heights to ensure an interference fit. This eliminates spiral leakage paths, allowing for pressure-tight joints without the need for sealants (Teflon tape or dope).
These carbide threading inserts feature a Full Profile design that cuts the thread groove, the specific NPTF truncation, and the 1:16 taper (1°47′) 6 in a single pass, ensuring strict compliance with ANSI B1.20.3 standards.

加工ガイドライン
- NPT vs. NPTF: Do not mix these threading inserts. NPTF inserts produce specific root/crest truncation limits to enable the “crush” seal. Using a standard NPT 16er threading insert will not achieve a dry seal.
- Taper Control: ご自身の 旋盤用ねじ切りインサート setup (taper attachment or CNC code) follows the standard 1:16 taper 1°47′.
- Topping Action: As Full Profile レイダウン式ねじ切りインサート, these tools must be set to the correct depth to finish the major diameter (crest) for proper gauging.
